Four Short Words
Let’s just say it—the Bible is tough to read. It’s ancient, cryptic, confusing, & flat out intimidating. Most of us know a few of the big stories, but we’re not quite sure what they mean, or how they fit together. People have more access to the Bible than ever but couldn’t be less interested. There’s one in every hotel and hospital room. It’s free on the internet and in apps. It’s “quoted” and argued over, but does anybody really read it? Christians have long believed the Bible is God’s main way of revealing Himself to the world. If that’s true, shouldn’t we try to figure out what it says and how it works? What if everything in the Bible is part of a bigger story—even the offensive, confusing, and boring parts? What if you could summarize all of Scripture in a way that would not only help you understand God’s story, but your story? And what if you could do all that in just four short words? We think you can. And we’re going to tell you how.
